Join us for the IFML Research Symposium 2026
The IFML Research Symposium, on Machine Learning towards Superintelligence, will be held from October 1 - 2, 2026 at the Mulva Auditorium at the University of Texas at Austin. The goal of the workshop is to discuss the machine learning path to human-level or superhuman intelligence and the related socio-technical challenges. Keynote speakers include Dale Schuurmans (Google DeepMind & University of Alberta), Dylan Foster (UC Berkeley & Microsoft Research, New England and New York City), Sanmi Koyejo (Stanford University), Sharon Li (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Scott Aaronson (UT Austin) and Atlas Wang (UT Austin & XTX Markets).
The IFML Research Symposium is part of the scientific activities of the NSF AI Institute for Foundations of Machine Learning, a multi-institutional initiative bringing together researchers from the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Washington, Wichita State University, and Microsoft Research.
